Brief Description of Duties for the Job:

Brief Description of Duties:
Responsible for developing the detailed schedules for the Engineering, Procurement or Construction phases of the project, including preparation and maintenance of Site “look ahead” Plans from the main project Primavera P3 and Microsoft project planning tools utilizing Microsoft Excel.
Interrogating interdisciplinary schedule requirements and restraints to ensure logical work sequences across all disciplines of the project.
Responsible for preparing Schedules, Graphs, Bar charts, Progress Curves and Spread Sheet Reports for regular site-based reports and progress reviews for the Project Controls Manager and Delivery Project Managers as requested.
Prepares Equipment and Manpower Loading Reports for site project resources. Supports the maintenance of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in conjunction with Planning Manager and Project Managers.
Monitors the assignment of budgeted resources to each site network activity with the appropriate Team Leader. Monitors and updates the Site Schedules with actual hours expanded and estimates to complete (ETC) in conjunction with the Cost Controllers.

Requirements:
Nigerian Engineering Professional Registration.
Specializing in Roads Planning and Infrastructure design and/or Traffic Engineering.
7-10 yrs proven and referenced post graduate engineering experience.
Proficient in CAD and standard engineering design software.
Excellent management and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• LEAD THE SUPPLY CHAIN TEAM AND PROVIDE LEADERSHIP AND DIRECTION ON ALL SUPPLY CHAIN ACTIVITIES ACROSS IITA
• IMPLEMENT THE OVERALL SUPPLY CHAIN STRATEGY AS SET OUT IN THE FIVE YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN IN LINE WITH DELIVERING ONGOING VALUE.
• IMPLEMENT AND IMPROVE ON ALREADY DEVELOPED KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS ACROSS THE WHOLE SUPPLY CHAIN WHICH DRIVES VALUE IN LINE WITH THE ‘BALANCED SCORECARD’ APPROACH.
• MANAGE THE SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS WITHIN IBADAN NAMELY; PROCUREMENT, STORES AND SHIPPING
• INTEGRATE AFRICA STATIONS INTO OVERALL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT CONCEPTS. PROVIDE LEADERSHIP AND DIRECTION IN THE CREATION OF ‘REGIONAL HUB’ SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS.
• MANAGE THE UK INTERNATIONAL PROCUREMENT OFFICE (IITA LTD) AS A SELF SUSTAINING AND SELF-FINANCING PART OF IITA
• IMPLEMENT ON-GOING SUPPLY CHAIN TRAINING PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES TO SIGNIFICANTLY UPGRADE THE CAPABILITY OF STAFF WITHIN THE TOTAL UNIT IN ORDER FOR TRAINED STAFF TO INITIATE ADDITIONAL ‘VALUE ADDING’ STRATEGIES AND TACTICS FOR IITA.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• AT LEAST TEN YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE SUPPLY CHAIN AND MARKETING EXPERIENCE WITH AT LEAST FIVE YEARS AT AN EXECUTIVE LEVEL. EXPERIENCE BOTH IN THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR WOULD BE A DISTINCT ADVANTAGE.
