Senior Petrophysicist

A Multinational Oil Company is looking for an Asset Petrophysicist for their operations in Nigeria.
• The jobholder is accountable to the Subsurface Manager, and the Function Parent Manager, for undertaking work to an appropriate standard and function performance requirements. They will be required to make responses to problems that requires judgment and assessment rather than tasks with a set output, where their specialist knowledge will often be required.

• The post holder is expected to make key operational decisions relating the design and execution of petrophysical data acquisition plans based on their expertise, and to work with stakeholders who also make use of these data in their work flows. They will make external relationships as required by individual situations (e.g. with contractors), and make recommendations concerning resource requirements.


Skills Required:

• A valid degree in an earth / physical science and an excellent working knowledge of Petrophysics.

• Should have 11 - 15 years of experience.

• The ideal candidate should have in petrophysics within the four areas like, operations management, formation evaluation, field development de-risking & reservoir survellience.

• Should have good problem solving abilities & team working skills.

• Should be able to present & report their work in a clear & timely manner.
